Definition

The unit models read and bill in — roughly three quarters of an English word, and notably more per word in Arabic, where the same sentence can cost two to three times as many tokens.

Token pricing is why model usage is rarely the expensive part of an automation: a long document is pennies. It matters at two extremes — very high volume, and Arabic.

The Arabic multiplier catches UAE businesses out when they scale bilingual content. The same monthly output can cost noticeably more in Arabic than English for identical value delivered. Worth knowing when a vendor quotes usage from English benchmarks.

Agentic workflow

A process where an AI system is given a goal rather than a script, and chooses its own sequence of tool calls to reach it. Distinguished from automation by being non-deterministic: the same input can produce a different route each run.
